Simply amazing. I've bought vanilla, vanilla bean paste, vanilla beans and several of the specialty vanillas. I love them all. I just keep ordering. I use the beans for ice cream in the summer, the paste for puddings, flans and custards and the vanilla in my baking. Can't recommend them highly enough.
The beans are soft and pliable, not the dried out sticks you find in stores. The vanilla extract I make at home with these is fantastic.
I bought these to make vanilla extract with. Within a few minutes of it being in the vodka, it was already turning brown. I did Vanilla Bean Kings beans at the same time, and they don’t really compare. These ones are also way bigger than theirs for around the same price. I think I read that Tongan is supposed to be the best out of all the vanilla beans, and it’s the one Vanilla Bean Kings doesn’t have.
My beans smelled amazing as soon as I opened the bag. I have the ten beans extracting in vodka as we speak and sugar in the bag soaking up the oils! The extract is already darker in color than one I started with different beans. Love these beans!
