    Easy Apple Pie

    Ingredients

    • 3 sheets of ready-rolled pastry 

    • 4 apples, peeled & sliced (or 2 x cans of sliced apple)

    • 3 tbsp Heilala Vanilla Sugar

    • 1 tbsp Heilala Vanilla Syrup

    • 1 tsp Heilala x Bon Appetit Double Fold Vanilla Extract
    • 1 tsp cinnamon

    Method

    1. Preheat oven to 180°C.

    2. Toss apples with vanilla syrup, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.

    3. Butter a pie dish and line with pastry. Blind bake until slightly golden brown.

    4.  Take out of oven and add apple mixture.

    5. Top with pastry (lattice or full), crimp edges.

    6. Brush top of pie with melted butter and sprinkle with vanilla sugar.
    7. Bake 35–40 mins until golden.
