3 sheets of ready-rolled pastry
4 apples, peeled & sliced (or 2 x cans of sliced apple)
3 tbsp Heilala Vanilla Sugar
1 tbsp Heilala Vanilla Syrup
1 tsp cinnamon
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Toss apples with vanilla syrup, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
Butter a pie dish and line with pastry. Blind bake until slightly golden brown.
Take out of oven and add apple mixture.
Top with pastry (lattice or full), crimp edges.
Bake 35–40 mins until golden.
